Diocesan Formation Committee

The diocesan Chartered Committee on Christian Formation supports churches through a network of regional coordinators. If you are looking for help planning programs, finding materials and resources, or getting in touch with others who are involved in Christian Education, contact your area coordinator or the committee chair, Stacy Holley.

The committee also sponsors an annual retreat each August, which includes time for resource and idea sharing, as well as spiritual renewal and relaxation. The committee believes that time to get to know and talk with other Christian educators, Sunday School teachers, committee members, and volunteers is essential for healthy ministry. Regional coordinators may have access to funds which can be used to sponsor regional formation training meetings, such as Godly Play training or Journey to Adulthood training. If you are interested in working with our committee to fund and present a regional training meeting, please contact the committee chair.
